Terms of use
The following terms of use constitute the agreement between the user and ergazomenos.gr for the provision of its services. Please read them carefully, as the provision of services presupposes full acceptance of the following terms. Acceptance is effected by clicking on the relevant link – “I Accept”.
1. The company under the trade name “EUROPEAN CONSULTING COMPANY LTD”, incorporated in Bulgaria, headquartered in Sofia, Alexander Stambolinski no55, Postal Code 1000, with VAT No. BG206488658, has created the website www.ergazomenos.gr (hereinafter referred to as the website).
2. The purpose of ergazomenos.gr is to serve as an online platform for offering and seeking employment positions and paid collaborations. Ergazomenos.gr provides the possibility for job seekers to submit their CVs and, correspondingly, for employers seeking staff to access them.
3. All forms of communication developed in connection with the services of ergazomenos.gr must aim at the purpose described above. The use of the website’s services for other purposes is not permitted. Ergazomenos.gr grants a limited, time-restricted, non-exclusive right of access and use of the website, depending on the duration of the purchased service, with the sole purpose of offering and seeking employment. Any distribution of any part of the website’s content in any way is strictly prohibited.
4. The use of ergazomenos.gr services is available only to adults acting on their own behalf or as legal representatives of companies, for the purpose of seeking employment or personnel. The access password is personal and its transfer is prohibited.
5. The user is required to register as a member through the corresponding registration page, accurately completing the information requested in the relevant form, in order to be able to use the service. The user guarantees that the information provided is true, accurate, and correct. The user must immediately inform ergazomenos.gr of any modification of the information. Ergazomenos.gr reserves the right to refuse registration.
6. By registering, the user guarantees that they have the legal capacity to use the service and that the use of the service is not prohibited or restricted in any way by the law of their place of residence or stay, or the law of their internet service provider, or any other applicable law.
7. Ergazomenos.gr undertakes to provide the job seeker with space on its website in order for them to post their CV in any form (recorded or not), as detailed during the registration process on the website. The user is charged according to the service they choose to use, in accordance with the current price list applicable to each service, which is made available prior to submitting the purchase completion form.
8. Ergazomenos.gr also undertakes to provide access to potential employers, who may search for and find CVs submitted by job seekers and use them for recruitment purposes, as detailed during the registration process on the website. The employer is charged according to the service they choose to use and in accordance with the current price list applicable to each service, which is made available before submitting the purchase completion form. All services are prepaid. Payment is made via credit or debit card, in accordance with the current price list for the selected service, and following the instructions provided during registration at ergazomenos.gr and before completing each purchase. Service cancellation or refund is not possible, as the service is considered fully provided upon activation and publication of the job posting. However, the user may, through their account, temporarily suspend the visibility of the job posting and reactivate it at any time for the remaining period available at the time of suspension, according to the purchased service. After the total validity period expires, the job posting is automatically deactivated and may be republished through a new service purchase.
9. Any changes to the general service fees will take effect upon their publication. Specially agreed fees may be changed only through modification of the service provision agreement and are not subject to the general pricing tables.
10. The duration of each job posting is set at thirty (30) calendar days from the date of publication, unless otherwise specified in the service package selected by the user. After this period expires, the job posting is automatically deactivated and the user may renew or republish it through their account. The service is considered provided upon publication of the job posting.
11. The validity period of each service purchased by the user is specifically defined and included in the information provided to the user before completing the purchase of the selected service.
12. Ergazomenos.gr shall not be held liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of certain or all of its services, which may occur without prior notice.
13. Consequently, ergazomenos.gr bears no related responsibility. It will make every effort to prevent viruses and unauthorized access to user information. However, due to the specific nature of the internet, it does not guarantee the effectiveness of these efforts and shall not be liable for any related damage suffered by the user or third parties.
14. Ergazomenos.gr assumes no responsibility or obligation, financial or otherwise, beyond those described in its services and the website’s terms of use.
15. Users are automatically informed by email from ergazomenos.gr of any action they take, such as registration, CV modification, rejection or acceptance of a CV by a prospective employer, etc.
16. The users of ergazomenos.gr’s services are solely responsible for the content of any document or video recording, including profile information, CVs, and expressions of interest for job positions or collaborations, as well as for any related damage. All opinions and statements included in such documents or videos represent the personal views and choices of the website’s users and do not, under any circumstances, reflect the views of ergazomenos.gr’s staff. CVs are not subject to any further processing. Ergazomenos.gr bears no responsibility for any alteration or modification of data. Upon receipt of a CV, the prospective employer becomes the data controller of the personal data contained therein and assumes all obligations and rights as provided by the General Data Protection Regulation (EU 2016/679), Greek legislation, and the directives of competent authorities. The same applies to job seekers who may become aware of personal data of potential employers.
17. The fact that users of the services may refer in their documents to electronic or other sources, such as other websites, books, newspapers, etc., does not in any way imply that ergazomenos.gr approves of or is responsible for the content of those sources. Our website may occasionally contain links to and from third-party websites. These third-party websites have their own privacy policies, independent from that of our company, for which we bear no responsibility.
18. Ergazomenos.gr does not guarantee the truth, accuracy, or exclusivity of the content of user documents or videos, nor does it guarantee the success of job or staff searches. Therefore, it shall not be liable in case of search failure, nor for any disputes, damages, or claims that may arise between users or between users and third parties in a professional or other context. Likewise, it does not guarantee the suitability or efficiency of a user nor the working conditions that an employer may impose.
19. Ergazomenos.gr advises job seekers and employers not to post sensitive personal data, i.e., data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, genetic data, biometric data, data concerning health, sexual life, or sexual orientation. Any such posting is made at the sole initiative and responsibility of the candidates. Account deletion entails deletion of all user data, except for those necessary for compliance with obligations arising from tax or other applicable legislation. After deletion, the account becomes inactive and the data are no longer accessible.
20. Users of the website’s services must respect the personality of other users and the reputation of businesses, as well as maintain confidentiality regarding any information to which they have access.
21. Ergazomenos.gr bears no responsibility for any infringement of third-party or website user rights that may arise from documents and/or videos posted by other users.
22. Ergazomenos.gr reserves the right not to publish or promote and/or to remove, even without prior notice, any document and/or video whose content is deemed illegal, contrary to good morals, immoral, and/or offensive to fundamental rights, or which does not serve the purpose of the website, or in any way mocks it. In the event of a serious violation of the terms of use or the law, ergazomenos.gr may terminate the specific user’s access to the website’s services. The judgment of such matters lies solely at the discretion of ergazomenos.gr.
23. The personal data provided by the user are used by ergazomenos.gr and its partner companies solely for the purpose of providing the service. They may not be used by any third party without compliance with the provisions of legislation relating to the protection of personal data, as applicable from time to time. Ergazomenos.gr, respecting the confidentiality of personal data, has created a separate document titled PRIVACY POLICY, where the relevant information is published. Ergazomenos.gr uses an automated matching system between job postings and CVs, supported by artificial intelligence (AI), in order to facilitate communication between job seekers and employers. This process is carried out based on the data voluntarily entered by users (such as specialty, location, professional/hard skills, and interpersonal/soft skills) and serves solely to facilitate the matching process. It does not produce legal effects nor does it make automated decisions that substantially affect users’ rights.
24. All website content, including but not limited to text, graphics, trademarks, digital files, and software, is the exclusive property of ergazomenos.gr or third parties and is protected by intellectual property law. Copying any part or the entirety of the website for any reason without the permission of its creators, whose work it constitutes, is strictly prohibited.
25. The terms of use operate both collectively and individually. The modification, abolition, or annulment of any term does not affect the remaining terms, which remain in force. Ergazomenos.gr reserves the right to modify the terms of use at its sole discretion, by publishing the modification on the relevant page of the website. Continued use of the services or the website constitutes acceptance of such modifications.
26. Ergazomenos.gr reserves all legal rights for addressing any infringement or action against the website.
27. From the day the user submits the purchase completion form for the selected service, the service is deemed fully provided/executed by ergazomenos.gr, given the automatic access to CVs. Therefore, by submitting the aforementioned form, the user cannot withdraw from the service.
28. Ergazomenos.gr may terminate the agreement without liability and without prior notice in the event of a breach by the user of any term, as well as in the event of use of the service or website in violation of the law, or in a threatening, offensive, harassing, defamatory, slanderous, vulgar, obscene, racist manner, or in violation of privacy and/or personal data protection, or in any way causing damage to third parties or to ergazomenos.gr, or offending public decency or the interests of ergazomenos.gr. In such cases, ergazomenos.gr reserves the right to delete the user’s account.
29. If the user wishes to have their account deleted, they must notify ergazomenos.gr in writing.
30. In all cases, ergazomenos.gr reserves all its lawful rights.
31. The applicable law is Greek law. The competent courts for resolving any disputes that may arise with the website ergazomenos.gr are the Courts of Thessaloniki.
