Terms of use
The following terms of use constitute the agreement between the user and ergazomenos.gr for the provision of its services. Please read them carefully, as the provision of the services requires the full acceptance of the terms below. Acceptance is completed by clicking the relevant link – "I Accept".
1. The company under the distinctive title "ΥΨΙΜΕΛΑΘΡΟΝ ΑΕ", established in Greece, based in Athens, 4-6 L. Dimokratias Street, PC 15451, with TIN 801388339, under the jurisdiction of the Psychiko Tax Office and with G.E.MI. number 15574230100, has created the website www.ergazomenos.gr (hereinafter referred to as the website).
2. The purpose of ergazomenos.gr is to serve as an online platform for offering and seeking paid employment and cooperation. Ergazomenos.gr provides the ability for prospective employees to submit their resumes and for employers to access them when seeking personnel for employment.
3. All forms of communication developed with reference to the services of ergazomenos.gr must converge on the above-described purpose. The use of the website’s services for other purposes is not permitted. Ergazomenos.gr grants a limited, time-limited (proportional to the service purchased by the user), non-exclusive right of access and use of the website solely for the purpose of offering and searching for employment. Making available any content of the website in any way is prohibited.
4. The use of ergazomenos.gr services is available only to adults acting on their own behalf or as legal representatives of companies, with the aim of seeking employment or personnel. The access password is personal and cannot be transferred.
5. The user is required to register as a member through the corresponding registration page by accurately completing the information requested by the relevant form in order to be able to use the service. The user guarantees that the information they provide is true, accurate, and correct. The user must immediately inform ergazomenos.gr of any modification of this information. Ergazomenos.gr reserves the right to refuse registration.
6. By registering, the user guarantees that they have the legal capacity to use the service and that the use of the service is not prohibited or restricted in any way by the law of their place of residence or stay, or by the place of the provider’s access to the website, or by any other applicable law.
7. Ergazomenos.gr undertakes to provide the prospective employee space on its relevant internet site so that they can post their resume in any form (video or otherwise), as described in detail during the registration process on the website. The user is charged according to the service they choose to use, in accordance with the applicable price list for each service, which is made available before submitting the purchase completion form.
8. Ergazomenos.gr also undertakes to provide access to prospective employers, who will be able to search and find resumes submitted by prospective employees and use them for the purpose of finding personnel, as described in detail during the registration process on the website. The prospective employer is charged based on the service they choose to use and in accordance with the current price list for each service, which is made available before submitting the purchase completion form. Payment can be made by credit card, or Paypal account, or by bank deposit, according to the applicable price list for the service they choose to use and the instructions provided during their registration on ergazomenos.gr and before the completion of each purchase.
9. Changes to the general charges of the services become effective upon their publication. Specially agreed charges only change after an amendment of the service provision contract and are not bound by the general charge tables.
10. Ergazomenos.gr is obliged to provide the service purchased by the user within a period of thirty days from the submission of the service purchase form. After this deadline, the user retains the right to withdraw, except where otherwise agreed.
11. The duration of validity of each service that the user purchases is specifically provided for and included in the information given to the user before completing the purchase of the service they choose.
12. Ergazomenos.gr is not liable for any modification, suspension, or interruption of some or all of its services, which may also occur without prior notice.
13. Therefore, ergazomenos.gr bears no corresponding liability. It will make every effort to prevent viruses and unauthorized access to users’ information. However, due to the special nature of the internet, it does not guarantee the effectiveness of this effort and is not responsible for any related damage to the user or third parties.
14. Ergazomenos.gr does not assume any responsibility or obligation, financial or otherwise, beyond those described in its services and in the website’s terms of use.
15. Users are automatically notified by email from ergazomenos.gr for every action it takes, such as registration, resume modification, rejection or acceptance of a resume by a potential employer, etc.
16. The users of ergazomenos.gr services who posted or sent any document and recording, including profile information, resumes, and invitations to express interest in a job position or for collaborations, are solely responsible for the content of any such document and recording, and for any associated damage. All views and statements included in these documents and recordings are personal opinions and choices of the website’s users and do not in any way reflect the views of ergazomenos.gr staff. Resumes are not subject to any further processing. Ergazomenos.gr assumes no responsibility whatsoever for any alteration or modification of data. Upon receipt of each resume, the prospective employer becomes the controller responsible for processing the personal data contained in that resume and has the obligations and rights provided by the General Data Protection Regulation (EU 2016/679), Greek law, and the instructions of the competent authorities. The above also applies to prospective employees if they become aware of personal data belonging to prospective employers.
17. The fact that users of the services may refer in their documents to electronic or other sources, such as other websites, books, newspapers, etc., does not in any way imply that ergazomenos.gr approves or is responsible for the content of these sources.
18. Ergazomenos.gr does not guarantee the truth, accuracy, and exclusivity of the content of users’ documents and recordings, nor does it guarantee the success of a job or personnel search; therefore, it is not liable in case of a failed search or for disputes, claims, damages, etc. that may arise between users or between users and third parties in a work or other context. Likewise, it does not guarantee the user’s suitability or efficiency, nor the working conditions that an employer may set.
19. Ergazomenos.gr recommends that prospective employees and employers do not post their sensitive personal data, i.e., data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, genetic data, biometric data, data regarding health or sex life or sexual orientation. Any such posting is made on the sole initiative and responsibility of the candidates.
20. Users of the website’s services must respect the personality of other users and the reputation of businesses, as well as keep confidential any information to which they have access.
21. Ergazomenos.gr bears no responsibility for possible infringements of the rights of third parties or website users that may arise from documents and/or recordings of other users.
22. Ergazomenos.gr reserves the right not to publish and promote or to remove, even without notice, any document and/or recording with content that is deemed illegal, contrary to good morals, immoral and/or offensive to fundamental rights, or that does not serve the purpose of the website, or that in any way ridicules it. In the event of a serious breach of the terms of use or the law, it may terminate the particular user’s access to the website’s services. The assessment of the above is at the discretion of ergazomenos.gr.
23. The personal data provided by the user is used by ergazomenos.gr and its affiliated businesses, with the aim of providing the service. It may not be used by any third party without compliance with the provisions of the legislation on the protection of personal data, as applicable from time to time. Respecting the privacy of personal data, ergazomenos.gr has created a separate text entitled PRIVACY POLICY, where the relevant information is posted.
24. The entire content of the website, including but not limited to texts, graphics, trademarks, digital files, and software, is the exclusive property of ergazomenos.gr or third parties and is protected by copyright law. Copying a part or all of the website for any reason is prohibited without the permission of its creators, whose intellectual property it is.
25. The terms of use function as a whole and individually. The modification, abolition, or annulment of any term does not affect the others, which remain in effect. Ergazomenos.gr reserves the right to modify the terms of use at its absolute discretion, announcing it on the relevant page of the website. Continued use of the services or the website constitutes acceptance of these modifications.
26. Ergazomenos.gr reserves all lawful rights to address any infringement and action against the website.
27. From the day of submitting the purchase completion form for the service selected by the user, the service has been fully provided/performed by ergazomenos.gr, given the automatic access to resumes. Therefore, by submitting the aforementioned form, the user can no longer withdraw from the service.
28. Ergazomenos.gr may terminate this agreement without liability and without prior notice if the user breaches any term, or if the service or the website is used in violation of the law, or in a threatening, offensive, harassing, libelous, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, racist manner, or in violation of privacy and/or personal data protection, or that causes any damage to a third party or to ergazomenos.gr, or offends good morals or the interests of ergazomenos.gr. In such cases, ergazomenos.gr is entitled to delete the user’s account.
29. If the user wishes to be deleted, they must notify ergazomenos.gr in writing.
30. In any case, ergazomenos.gr reserves all its legal rights.
31. The applicable law is Greek law. The competent courts for resolving any disputes that may arise with the ergazomenos.gr website are the courts of Thessaloniki.
